Help Please,

I have done a search and found the answer for every model bar mine.

Nothing major but in the process of fixing my wiper arm/water jets and have followed all the previous advice with no problems at all. Got all the trims off after reading up on here and being gentle so not to break the clips.

All I need please is someone to tell me how to remove the large plastic panel with the lights in at the bottom of the tailgate, before I snap something. All I can see is 2 x screws in the middle which when removed seem to do nothing.

Thanks

you mean removing the reversing lights on the lower part of the tailgate or the number plate lights / handle on the top part of the tailgate ?

2.0 hippo,

Thanks for getting back, now I can see that I did not make this very clear.
What I mean is not the lower tail gate but the upper glass piece.
I have removed all the inner trim to allow access to the wiper motor but cannot see how to remove the bottom piece with the internal lights in,

Would appreciate your reply back

Thanks

oh right, i see now.

not to sure mate about removing that piece. never had to remove it myself before.

i thought they were held in with clips ?

have you tried removing the two lights and checking there's no hidden screw fixings behind them used for securing the panel you wish to remove ?

Will give it a go, only want to get it off to treat the lower panel with some waxoyl as a bit of rust showing where water is being held I guess,
Thanks again for your trouble and will be gentle with it tomorrow weather permitting
