Tailgate letters / stickers

I have just repainted the rear tailgate on my '94 softdash and need the RANGE ROVER & VOGUE SE stickers / decals / wording.

I want to fit the original type (silver in colour and slighty raised) but dont seem to be able to find any; does anyone know who stocks them.

This might sound silly but check with your LR dealer. I managed to get the silver RR decal for the bonnet/hood a couple of years ago - not cheap but it was the genuine article

I have managed to locate the correct RANGE ROVER logo from Craddocks.

Unfortuantly have have not had any luck with the 'Vogue SE' one. The part number is BTR7035MUL. The main part suppliers say discontinued.

Only option is to have one made, the original was a slightly raised 3D item, not sure if i can replcate this so will have to made do with a normal sticker.

I had a similar thing when I moped the LSE.

I managed to get a 'Range Rover' bonnet decal (original) but needless to say the 'vogue LSE' was never going to happen.

I went around the shops in Dorset and London trying to find a graphics company to make me the lettering to no avail. It seems the original lettering is almost impossible to copy unless you have the original equipment/files.

In the end I had the old rear decals sprayed up to (kind of) match the front. Unless your anal you'd never know they were painted.

Of course a lot of people just use the P38 decals all over, which are similar enough to the classic's for nobody to ever notice (apart from those on here ofc )

*Having said that this isn;t an option for the LSE owners!

I have managed to identify the original font so am going to get a graphics company to make some vinyl ones. It won't have the 3d effect of the original but should look identical.

I will do a run of say 50 of "Vogue SE" & "Vogue LSE" and stick them on eBay if anyone is interested.

Let us know as I'd be interested in getting a set as a back up just in case some scally decides to start peeling them off.

Update; i thought i had got hold of the "RANGE ROVER" 3D Decal, but dispite listing them on numerous web sites unfortunalty no one has them in stock and are discontinued.

They look similar to the one on the P38 - does anyone know the differance?

jnr77; Count me in if you decide to have "Vogue LSE" manufactured. I have the Mosswood paint and the letters are in a kind of brownish color.

Find someone with a 3D printer and get them made.

Any news on the Vogue SE front? I'm in the same boat, impossible to track down a decal.

Seems Rimmer Bros sold some decals but they are not listed now, only a collective photo hinting what they had:

I've just been told there was a stand at the LRO show doing the raised soft dash lettering, anybody see it, or know who they are?
Picking my car up from the spray shop tomorrow, so will need some soon.

Splitty, my classic goes in for a full body paint in a couple of weeks time so looking for the Vogue SE tailgate decals.

As a fall back, a friend of mine owns a sign writing company and does vinyl lettering so will get some made to OEM spec. Let me knowif you find a source, if not I can get duplicates made
