Tailgate and door interlocking fail??

Hi guys, new to forum and I suppose like all newbies I have a problem.
Freelander 2 (2011) XS.
doors open ok on remote fob and tailgate will also open ok using tailgate button on fob but I cannot get both doors and tailgate to open on global. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
