Series 3 Swivel to axle bolts

Hi
Will M 8 bolts do the job on the swivel housing- I have lots of them but no BSF.

no they are special bolts

You can not use stainless steel, it is a softer metal.Use the proper bolts,its a safety item.

I replaced all of mine, torqued them up correctly. 6 months later I noticed a weep of oil from where the swivel chalice bolts to the axle tube end. The bolts needed retightening both sides. Just something to check a couple of hundred miles after your hub rebuild

I paid a garage to do it for me- the gaiters from &&itpart don't fit!

Where they the black rubber ones? If so I will avoid them and try the leather ones or just go au naturel instead.
