Swivel pin change needed!!

I do have noticed a play in the swivel on both front wheels. Questions to the more experienced of this forum are the following:
1. Do I need to get all the swivel ball out to replace the pins , housing (RAIKO) and the bottom pin bearing? Can I avoid dismantling it all?
2. Are the above mentioned parts the only necessary to get the job done? Any other parts (including gaskets, grease, special fluids and materials) needed???

bottom bearing takes the load ,but top is often worn through less lubrication.to change bearings if 300 tdi and after or bush and bearing if 200 tdi and earlier you will need to strip back to housing which means removal of stub axle and drive shaft then undoing top pin will allow housing to be removed and parts changed ,you dont need to and shouldnt try to remove bottom pin, rialko bush fits only in one position even though it will fit in any it has two cutaways to allow for seal in full lock ,it can be fitted using hammer if suitable soft metal or wood dolly put on top to avoid damage,ensure you fit new rialko thrust washer in bottom of bush

the LR 90 os a 1988 V8 petrol, carbs still on (planning to install the Efi soon).
when I had the front axle up, moving the wheels I had my fingers on the ball and felt the play bottom and top side. I think it's better to replace both the bush (top) and the bearing.
my trouble is to put the swivel housing back on correctly so that I won't have leacks!! any practical advice or just follow the manual instructions?
second question: since I'm gonna remove stub axle and drive shaft, any parts that would be necessary to replace? (gaskets, seals etc)
 
just follow manual and set swivel pin preload before securing seal,and if fitting new seal make sure you get retaining plate right way round before fitting ball ,yes replace seals etc and use 606666g bottom bearing timken not pattern

As James said, you want Timken (not cheap ebay specials) bearings and replace seals, you will also need swivel grease which comes in a one shot pouch with the correct amount for one swivel in a pouch.
 
Just as a matter of interest, have you still got any shimms still in place?

Try taking some of those out before you do anything else, as it could save you a lot of time and a bit of money!!
