switch lighting

hi i have a 2001 td5 auto. on the headlight leveling switch the numbers 0. 1. 2 3. light up the switch itself does not .should it? the electric mirror control none of it lights up .should this? lastly the switches that controls the heater settings each side .do the switches just pull out to change the switch illumination? many thanks.

Heater controls should light up - the following link Climate Control - Discotech.info documents the procedure and the part numbers. I did mine and its easy. I took the radio out, but you don't have to - search this forum and there are other ways to release the clips holding in the climate control unit in place.

thanks for that. most helpfull . can you help with the other part of my post does your headlight leveling switch light up the numbers on mine do but the switch itself does not? also does your electric mirror adjstment switch light up as mine doesnt? many thanks.
