Suspension question (again!!!)

I know it'll be in here somewhere, but tried for a good 20 mins to find it in all the posts to no avail.

So, new bags (push fit connector type), new sensors and compressor about 18 months old.

On a slight incline the bags deflate over 3 or 4 days, but with the bags extended to full height (although doesn't look it) then it stays put.

Thinking its the calibration, and i should take it back to my indies?

Any other thoughts?

there could be a nondetected leak somewhere tho.. to rule it out, when it's on level unplug all the electric connectors in the compressor housing and leave it so for 3-4 days(remember to not mix them when you plug them back) ... if theres no leak and it's a management issue it will not drop at all in such short time(it keeps the air for weeks if no leaks)... if it will drop this way too get soapy water and find the leak( could be at a pipe or at the valve block)...dont bother with the SLS warning, it will go away when you plug everything back

Check the air pipe to the r/o/s bag where it runs along the chassis. Heard of this being a cause of "unknown leaking"

Thanks for the suggestions - water and fairy liquid did the trick.

Seems that on of the push fit connectors on the new air bags is leaking - any ideas how to fix?

I've reseated the pipe by taking out and pushing it back in, and pulling out the collet as much as it'll go, but the leak is still there.

Next step was to trim a bit more off the pipe just in case its not seating properly - but didn't want to until I've ask the experts

bodge it with some sealant/liquid rubber or something as to not clog the pipe's end...i have no other ideea

I'm not sure which "collet" you are referring to. As far as I know the only fixing for this type of airbag is the "gripper" type which shouldnt allow you to pull the pipe out unless you prise it out complete with the pipe. Personally I would prise this out and recut the pipe squarely and refit the gripper and then push in the pipe.

Cheers all - decided to go for the trimming of the hose prior to using sealant and it worked - must have been a mis-shaped hose in the end.

Now of course the opposite side is lower by a few inches - does it need to go off to the indie to have the sensors recalibrated?
