Suspension problem on my 2011 discovery 4....

Stuck on high suspension warning pops up not to go over 30 !
It rocks side to side over 40 could it be a hight adjustment sensor ????

I'm trying to get hold of a reader I may have to buy one tomorrow any recommendations (not to expensive)
Thanks

Icarsift for 100 quid (ebay) is pretty good and can read all the cars systems (most cheapies can only read engine codes)
The IID is the dogs whatsits but at 400 quid it had better be! it can do all what the Icarsoft can but can also programme various ecus, set ride heights etc etc all stuff most owners wont ever need.
Both sell well second hand and you will get back at least 75 percent of your money making the Icarsoft a bargain.

I had an Icarsoft for a year and was impressed with it, then got an IID and yes Ive played with it changed a few bits because I could and updated the gearbox ecu with an anti shunt software, but again not essential.

My apologies

Don’t be daft , lol, just tells us a bit about urself

Ur find the forum a very helpful and friendly place

Plus 1 ref diagnostics , with these vehicles being so complicated there really a must , inc saving u a fortune from garage fees when it needs plugging in

Does sound like s height sensor but thing with these vehicles is u can never assume, lol

So basically it won’t drop down to access or normal height , at all

It’s not set in rock crawl mode is it in ur terrain response system

Thanks for the recommendation buddy I will get on eBay now !

Usually if it's stuck high the exhaust valve is blocked closed(that's the most common) but can be any of the list

Lol, ;)

Due to the complexity Diagnostics would really be the way to go

Ref the warning , does it say extended mode plse

Many of us use the gap iid diagnostics, bit expensive at £420 but pays for itself very quickly
