Hey guys sorry if this seems a dumb question but I'm still learning
The air suspension has been removed on my td5 for springs but my pops hit the lift switch earlier and now the light is on the dash
My question is can it be disabled?
Thanks

And can I just pull the wires from the switch to prevent it happening again? Or is there a way to run springs and air for off road???

You need to have it plugged in to a diagnostic machine. The car needs to be told it is not on airbags anymore then the switch becomes useless and the compressor (if still there) will stop intermittently trying to pump them up. Try your local garage, mine charged me £20 to do this and also read any other fault codes whilst it was plugged in after doing some other work for me, i think it would usually be £30-40.

It takes seconds with the right machine. The D2 was available with either coils or airbags so the option/setting for both is already there, you pretty much just tick the coil spring box.
