Hi firstly thank you for letting me join your community.
I have a D3 2008 HSE with what seems to be the standard suspension fault, have checked what I can check and had my local garage read the codes. Main theme seems to be a break in the communication to the ride height module. Garage suggested a loose connection. Have checked wiring to and from Ecu and can't see anything. Compressor seems to be OK as its pumping up ok and holding level. The light and warning comes on when I try to change height up or down and it doesn't matter if the engine is running or not. The only issue I have managed to fix recently is a sticking front valve block which is all good now, anything else I am at a loss with.

Appreciated ideas or thoughts from the more technically experienced amongst you

Thanks stuart

I would take a good look at the compressor, sticky valves says to me the dessicant is breaking down in the compressor.
I took mine off and replaced the dessicant and filters with a cheap kit off ebay.
Be aware different makes of compressor fitted/retrofitted, again google images will give you a clue which is which.

You will also need the codes for a google search.
Lots of the codes mean squat, so you need to delete then drive and read the new codes to see what is current/active.

Hi thanks for the reply, will take a trip back to the garage and get him to do it again and see what we get, there wasn't any sign of white dust in the valve block. Haven't ruled out the compressor just not being overly experienced with this type of system I am probably looking for something more difficult than what it real is?
I suspect some of the codes were historic

Thanks again
Stuart

No dust in my valves, but car was throwing an error, and would not raise above standard ride height, also took an age to get to normal ride height.

Iirc this was the first random error, and about 500miles later the more accurate one came up, clear it and very shortly after it was back so a genuine live error/code.

Ps i dont know what you are paying to get codes read? but Icarsoft I930 for under 100 quid is very good, and unlike cheap generic readers will read all the systems on your car, icarsoft do a posher verson for another 40 quid, what that 40 quid buys you I have no idea?
