Surrey greenlanes?

I am about to place some orders for some off road kit that will help in take 2.

Yea i m looking at some new tyres as my ALL TERRAINS let me down slightly just couldnt get any grip down there. We have done it before comign in the direction you guys did. But got stuck in the first deep puddle sideways as we just slide in?! at an angle (i wasnt driving that time )

Im only 3mins away so when you do go i ll come take some photos and help if i can!!

We tried to go to the one at alfold first but it was gated?? when is that lane open?
will definately let you know next time we do it. Last time was in the middle of the night, tho we got recovered in the morning!

I think it should be open soon. The gate is there only to close it over the winter. Got stuck down there in my V8 and had to do the same..went and recovered it in the morning.

There s a great FORD over near BORDON as well, if you like challenging stuff!! Its over the bonnet after a small bit of rain. Not long i d say 2-3 car lengths and the water isnt fast flowing. But along with many others violets Lane is on the 'to do' list!



This is the Ford at Bordon. My V8 got through this! I hear though that the entrance now on one side is pretty steep.

will have to go have a look at that one. Going up to do violets lane and surrounding ones on the 24th with the hertfordshire guys if you're around.

I'm organising the 24th and you're more than welcome. I'd imagine we'd finish up at about 4.00pm, so you'll have plenty of time.
That picture above is but just a small puddle compared to Standon and Violets Lane.

I will get some gaffa tape on my snorkel then! Should have my CB and winch working by then too.

That there looks challenging and a good days laning if nowt else, wot you say to us going there for a day sometime do some of the bumpy and wet stuff Recokn we can get through it looks like a wee lil hole compared to some stuff we have been driving through. Jai

You can meet with me and woods and we can go up in convoy along with anyone else down this way going up for it

Whats the best time of day for you guys, I personally like going out at night but will go with the majority!

I've not got my new tyres yet but I fancy coming and watching.

Can anyone suggest any dates.......not the 14th Feb, she'd go mad, I'm already going to Vegas on her 30th Birthday.....ooops!

Would prefer to do the lane in the day..just for the obvious reason of light etc..Plus it s really a half day thing, so one Sat or Sun morning.
