Surrey greenlanes?

Looks like the Hindhead lanes might be still closed, although the signs say they should have been open since 11th October.

Anyway has anyone been on the lanes around Farley Green (517, 509, 507, 508, 511)?

I was thinking i might have a look over there saturday afternoon evening if anyone is keen?

Does anyone know if these are open or any restrictions etc.

I live local to farley green, shere etc, im going out sunday with a few mates of you wanna tag along. Will be in the morning bout 11ish

No width restrictions on those lanes however but the alfold/knowle lane has now got a width restriction

Ok mate, i could well be. I just need to check with the missus she hasnt booked me for something. How long will you be heading out for?

I have a completly standard TD5 90 (no underbody protection as yet), that i dont really want to get scrathed up too badly. Do you think these lanes will be suitable?

I'm going to try, funeral is in Bristol and I will stay there the night, so I plan to pop in on the way back if I can get away early enough...

errrmmm your will be fine doing the e.horsley to shere lane, its pretty wide with some water n mud at the top. The winterfold to farley lane is narrow but not scratchy again youll b fine, the lane from like abinger ish to e.horsley is pretty scratchy but not too bad. sorry i dnt know the byway numbers lol.

So far it will be me, a standard 110, a stupid looking disco, a 600quad and maybe 2bikes lol the lanes r pretty tame, they closed the best ones!

Prob out for 2-3 hours and pint after usually

Is the wide muddy lane the one from between Effingham and Great Bookham to Ranmoor Common?

I would start south and head north and see how i get on. Is that whole route suitable for a standard 90?

Been out a few times since i passed my test a few weeks ago Admirals way, Hogden lane, Sheepwalk, London lane. But as it was only me and a few mates (1 Vehicle.. Yeah yeah i know... Don't go on your own! Help was only a phone call away ) i did not want to do anything to difficult.

You passed your test a few weeks ago ????, I thought it was a few months ago that you had it booked

Don't worry I had to bribe my tester to get my licence

I may well have failed my first one...... For speeding :doh: Passed second time though

Hi guys, I am new to the site, and to owning a Land Rover, Hell even to UK really.
If any of you go hit the surrey greenlanes anytime soon and dont mind a tag along pls give me a shout I would love to join you. Been itching to get the Landy off the tarmac for a bit of fun.

I hope to be going out on the lanes soon, just a bit short on cash at the moment. Also got to sort out a days laning for Spyderman and some of the other Hertfordshire guys, when spyderman got over his busy time at work.
