Supermarket veg oil prices

Just went down my local tesco's. Managed to get me hands on 40x1 litre bottles of its finest 56ppl pura oil. I love their new self service tills. No staff asking questions or telling you you can only have 10. Just scan and pay.

I would have been if I'd used the conveyor belt one. You scan the item and then have to let it past the sensors at the other end of the conveyor belt. Cos I used the static one I just scanned the same bottle 40 times as they were in 2 boxes of 15 and 10 loose.

That'd take even longer! It won't scan the next item till the weight sensor under the plastic bags senses that you've bagged the item (which is why you keep hearing "Unexpected item in bagging area - it's not the manager having it off with one of the staff while the tannoy's left on!) - i tried that (the self serve till, not shagging the manager)

I didn't have a problem with the weight sensor. It could be cos I kept the boxes of bottles at the first counter bit until i had paid though.
