The historians on this site might be interested in the photos below. They are from a mid 70's 2 door rangie that a friend owns. It was originally built as a prototype for Land Rover incorporating a 3 speed auto and this supercharger. Land Rover later went with fitting the auto to production cars, but sadly the supercharger was not. The supercharger is a switchable one. That is, it does not run all the time if your don't want it. It has a clutch on the front similar to a air-con unit.

Probably about half what it was when it was built.
Basically I would not have a clue as the car is in a bit of disrepair and I am not sure whether he has even fired it up since he purchased it 12 months ago.

Funny that I thought Hi Octane,Nitrous Oxide would be easy to get and feed a super charged v8 at the end of the world
