found this on the bay 321069260971.
not seen this mod on here or any where on other sites, wasn't aware it could be done, so can it? not going to do it as you hear enough gear box wreaking stories by just putting a plug and play on.

Superchargers are pointless on diesels IMO, turbo's rule.
I think they are just talking about the supercharger grill, no evidence of a supercharger from the photo's.

superchargers are not pointless on diesels...no more so than on a petrol engine...infact the yanks are no (finally) s/c the navistar and gmc lumps..better acceleration..no lag..no exhaust back pressure...

i will be s/c my gmc v8 too..and why not..??!!

There is a chap on youtubes big on derv tuning and he twin charged a 306 derv. After heaps of fab work he ditched the super for twin turbo instead. It sounded awesome with a super but not ideal.

Problem with a super on a small engine is it'll strip a bit of power (although ngelible there is a loss) whereas on a large engine you wont really notice it at first and then the gain will be mega!

Having said that though Mini's use supers and they fly!

All depends on the size. I've seen a Mini Metro (iirc A-Series engine) fitted with a tiny super and it gave it a nice punch in the back. Sure you "lose" power but you'll make it back and extra.

Looks like a standard turbo set up?! But technically a turbo charger is a super charger! As the name refers to forced induction traditionally not the method, so you get belt driven super chargers and turbo super chargers! But I'm just being pedantic:) the advert is clearly written by someone with no idea at all. Probably thinks its a special build cos its got BMW written on it!
