Supercharged.. But want more power?

Hi all..
fairly new to the forum..(joined cos i now have a p38) hope this does not upset anyone?

Anyway, I can give you an extra 4BHP for only £1500... Thats a big boost for not a lot of money..

Go to the for sale section and search for supercharger for a lot more info...

I have a p38, but my vespa scooter uses the same engine and supercharger...
So i know what im talking about!!

Well, been to Sales and searched 'Supercharger' but there are a lot of posts about this subject - can you be more specific????:doh:

Its just an advert for a smaller supercharger pulley.

where do ya put the pulley and what does it turn, for 150 quid i'd want a fecking time machine!

no you would want a brand new range rover.

£150 for a fecking pulley, could get one made for less

any decent machine shop would be able to knock these out a lot cheaper than 150 quid,even as a one off.

I have a P38 too and I'm not aware of any P38s with the same engine and supercharger!!!!!!!!!! as a Jaguar, So i know what im talking about!! Can you enlighten me?

I would like to supercharge my 4.5 and half p38 2000 model Thor engine any advice I could rely on?

wouldn't last long though would it gav.

well i'll vernish it, that'll protect it from the coolant that WILL spill outa the enjin.

its prolly best to have wood anyway, less chance of t'engine flying through bonnet!

Obviously its not for a P38, Its for the newer supercharged Range rover.

Firstly... You could not just knock one of these out.. They are different in many ways to the original.. But if you think you can make them on a one-off basis at a good price then i would be interested... Mine are high grade steel, CNC cut and then machined out internally to fit...
Other companies sell these for £300.. do some research!!!

I have gone to the trouble of designing the pulley, having the CAD drawings done, then paid out for specific CNC tooling as it is not standard.

Next.. This gives at least 35BHP increase, nearer 40bhp... If you can find any other product on the market that gives nearly 4bhp per £1 spent then i will be impressed... People pay hundreds of £ for "performance exhausts" that may give 10bhp if you are lucky!! You guys may know about 4x4 and off roading but you sure as hell dont know about performance tuning....

And yes, the Range rover supercharged uses the 4.2L Jaguar engine. FACT. I

i know a little about performance tuning........

I have NVQ3 motor vehicle, so my advice would be that you are plying your **** in the wrong place.
Further to this your ratty dixons salesman attitude you is guaranteed to get you a frosty response here.

also a more effective way of improving performance is remove weight....... not only will it improve your acceleration it will improve you braking and cornering also it will reduce your tyre wear and fuel consumption


don't add power remove weight!!!


bring your car down to me and i will add lightness all it will cost it £150


or ya can do it yersen for fook all by taking some **** out!!!!
