I just want to close it and seal it!:mad: The sunroof is open about an inch or so and won't close with pressure.
I've been told there's a manual way of closing the sunroof!:)
Directions anyone?:(

Thanks in advance!

There's nothing in the manual on manual closure of the sunroof.
Where do I find the key and where does it go?
There a plastic cap pressed into the ceiling near the front window (windshield), when I pull the cap there's not much there, so I asume it closes someplace else.

my 2001 V6 ES had the manual facility.

That vid is showing a typical system, not any particular one (fink its a slitty).
If i remeber - yu pulled down the flap by the sunroof stuff and the tool and a hex socket drive was in there.

The motor that drives the sunroof is behind the interior light just above your rear view mirror. the cables that move it run forward from each side of the roof to the motor. To manually move the motor you need to drop the light and try turning the motor with a large screwdriver in the slot on the motor. If this doesn't work you have to drop the motor to release it from the cables ( 3 torq screws). If the slider the cable pulls on is broken the roof will only pull on one side and jam. You will have to move this slide forward with a screwdriver to allow the roof to drop, then move it forward by pushing the roof by hand.
Check this link for some pics I posted.

Don't seal it permanently. Check the manual to see the actual way. But I don't think, there should be any manual way.
