Blimey is it really that bad? I do like fresh air so will persevere. When I say manual I ma referring to the T key operation. Will start with the relay(fuse is fine).
Thanks
Simon

That I don't know so I have to assume yes. Don't know how to enable in BeCM. It does say Sunroof not set' but I thought that it had to be working to 'set' it. Have yet to check switch so plainly lots to look at.
Thanks
Simon

The reason I asked is because the sunroof on my '95 RRC started opening on its own, so I unplugged the motor. Is yours plugged in?

yes, sunroof not set, would need the sunroof working to set it. But since it says sunroof not set, then that already means that the sunroof IS enabled in the BeCM, so no need to worry on that score. If you have (access to) a Nanocom you can try to open and close the s/r remotely - which will give you an idea of whether or not the wiring/ motor are working or not, and if it works remotely then you are probably looking at the functioning of the switch

Once again I ask has it been disengaged from manual function, if not it won’t operate. The reason I suggest this is that it is what happened with mine when I first got it, the previous owner had said that the sunroof didn't work. It was absolutely a ok though after re-engaging the drive. I must say that I tend not to use it often, although it is fully functioning (I rebuilt it a couple of years ago) it is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Thanks to you all. Just checked it was plugged in and it was! I did though clean the contacts and hey presto the motor is now whirring ......but not operating. Presume I must take it out and have a look at the teeth/cog/drive whatever is up there. Know what you mean about chocolate teapot but I do like to know things are working!
Will report back.
Thanks

You have to take it out of manual to re-engage the motor drive.
