Sunroof

Hi all.
I never use my sunroofs and can't open them as the motors need replacing. Can I seal the sunroof up permanently with tiger seal without openy them??
Also found a headlining with no sunroof holes in so I will put a new headlining in aswell to cover them from the inside, but want to be sure I have no leaks before doing the headlining.
