Hi.the previous owner of my disco 1 must of sealed the sunroof shut. I've manage to get it open and working with the tilt but there is no button to open it fully. My question is does it even open fully? Or just tilt.

My mates one tilts first then slides all the way back, mine is on a handle and that slides all the way back too

Mine tilts and if you continue to hold the switch down it slides back.

I cured mine leaking by simply cleaning around it and running a small neat bead of black sikaflex where it meets the steel roof. I also cleaned the rubber seal and smeared it lightly with vasaline.

I now don't get soaked when I go round corners anymore.

They all have to tilt, otherwise the class wouldn't go back over the roof that one of the design faults they have and why some leak.

Built-in sunroofs do not require to have a tilt be for opening fully, but slide stright back into the roof space... a proper sunroof :D.
