Sunroof not set

Im getting the sun roof not set message on the display all the time, ive followed the manual to set it but it just does nothing after ive compleated the open/close tilt/close..

Anyone had this before?

Lots of posts on this issue if you do a search. Can't help thinking your flooding problem is related to this, given your thread of the leaking sunroof..... has it been opening and closing normally up to now, without leaking, until the flood you described? As someone else said, it sounds like a misalignment or a seal problem - have you solved the leak problem yet? Methinks your problems won't be solved until the leak issue is addressed.

You may also have a problem with the sunroof motor - perhaps it was closed manually while your car was in for repair as you said, and have not been properly re-engaged with the motor. You need to do this manually - the procedure is in the manual.

Thanks for your reply... I have realigned the sunroof as someone mentioned in the other thread.. But water still gets through the seal.. So im guessing I need a new seal around the glass.. It seems fairly tight towards the front but not so tight near the rear of the glass.. It opens and closes and tilts and closes as it should, it always has done since I bought it but it has always said sunroof not set.. it has always leaked since I got it too.. But with the heavy rain the last few days its pushed me to do something about it..

There is a Manuel key, did you get this with it when you bought the Landy? if not buy one, use it to fully close the sunroof, then try again, it is possible its not closing all the way and is a little short, that's why you need the key to make sure it is closes all the way, and also re adjust the alignment like i already said in another post

Thanks for that mate, I didnt get a key with it but I will get one and give that a try...
