Sunken drivers seat!!!

Hi can anyone help please, Got in my disco today started the engine and sank 2 inches ending up sitting on a metal bar, i looked underneth and the webbing/rubber sling had torn, is there any fix out there or is it a new/second hand seat job?

ive seen on tractor lorry seats steel strips,wood ,aluminum box type wire used to mend seats try somthing it may be an easy fix ..

Easier to replace the seat although you can replace the webbing but don't know if you can get them. 200tdi seats are different fitting to 300tdi and seats are not interchangeable.

buy yourself a cheap pillow like i did saves the hassle of trying to find a seat the same colour

Who gives a toss what colour it is so long as you aren't sat on the floor

.

Mine ****ed up and I got a second hand one of ebay for £20, lot easier than bodging it up.

Its a late 96 300 its the seat with the belt anchor fixed to the seat, seat colour is grey.
