sun roof seal help.....

Hi all,

Finally got a few days off to work on the landy - 1988 110 csw

Having repainted the sun roof brackets and bought a new seal, I tried rebuilding it today.

wtf is the seal all about?

It appears to be too small and refuses to stay seated.

My fingers are killing and I'm pi$£ed off help..................:doh:

I've got to do the same thing at some point as just bought me 90 and it leaks into the roof lining. The only thing I can think is what sealant/glue are you using? Maybe a strong sealant might help it to stick in place. But I haven't tried so just a guess, let us know how it gets on.
