I can get the one on the drivers-side out quite easily, in fact I took it out and then put it back in with some copperslip on the threads (for next time). The Passenger side one that is interfered with by the towing loop I just cannot budge.
In truth I didn't have a Torx-bolt socket and I managed to get the other one off with a 12mm socket slipped over the Torx-head. So off I went to Halfrauds and purchased the correct E14 Torx Socket.
This one still won't budge, even with the use of an impact-driver. I have sprayed the thing with GT3/WD40, tried shocking it with a quick burst of clockwise impact driver to loosen it. Running out of ideas now.
What's the wisdom on this please folks?

Thanks @Henry_b I am delighted to report that I managed to shift the bastard thing. :p
Even though the Impact driver was having no effect, I was a bit stuffed because the 1/2" to 3/8" adapter has gone missing from my socket-set and I was W/O a 3/8" Drive ratchet.
Then I remembered that back when I was a mere 21yrs old I bought a really rudimentary "Draper" branded ratchet set so I went hunting for it in the garage among all the crap.
I found it and "bingo" it was 3/8" drive. So that plus a 3-foot piece of 25mm x 3mm tubing I managed to "crack" the bloody bolt free.
It is now all copperslip'd and back in. When the weather improves, that bumper is coming off and the tow-bar is going on. :D
