I went to Devon on Saturday caravanning, on Monday night left the sunroof open to allow the storm to fill my car with water. Woken up by the grand kids to tell me the window was open and the car full of water. After getting the AA man out was eventually able to shut all windows/sunroof and he pulled the fuses to keep them shut, also pulled relay for horn and wipers as they wouldn't stop, have been drying the out by letting it stand with the heater on full. Was able to put the relays back for both the horn and wipers. Have not tried putting the fuses back for the windows and sunroof as yet, problem is the headlights and rear nearside light stay on so have to disconnect the battery when I park up. Why have the lights not corrected them selves?
Skint so is this going to be a dear exercise? What will need to be done to rectify? Help please.

The most important connectors to check are the ones to the BeCM under the drivers seat. These control everything and if they're even slightly damp, you'll have no end of problems. Ditto for any other ECUs and outstations. A bit of a nightmare I'm afraid. Everything needs to be absolutely dry.

Owning a Range Rover is like opening your wallet on a windy day just watch the money fly away! Thanks for the encouragement gents I will keep my fingers crossed and prey its not going to have to go in, I know that Irishrover is the man if things don,t improve!!!
