Stupid clattering noise

Sorry to harp on about this but I still get this bloody clattering noise under my new (!) 110 sometimes e.g. after driving "hot" and waiting at lights etc.

But when I went to the Munich dealer it wouldn't make the sodding noise for them :doh:
I'm giving up trying to find out what it is or change it but I just wanted some opinions:
If the clutch/gears are dying or buggered (as some have suggested) wouldn't I notice problems all the time and not just occasionally. Even the new clutch/gears are supposed to be quite "clunky" aren't they?

have you put anything extra on ...

its usually something small that ratals under neath

espcially on the exhaust as above said

next time it rattels jump , out get underneath and listen and look

Many thanks for the advice. Unfortunately it only happens when I am in the car and playing with the clutch and gears a bit. Trouble is, when the engine shakes a bit (e.g. when hot) and the exhaust is hot etc. almost anything could be knocking against anything else. I will try to get someone brave/stupid enough to stick their head under...

to eliminate exhaust press with something suitable on silencer box insides come loose noit obvious from outside

It sort of feels at though it's coming through the drive train - I fitted a front diff guard (off to Iceland in a few months

) and that moved the steering rod guard a bit on the mount. So I suppose it could be knocking. I will remove it and see if anything changes.
