The actuator on the driver side rear passenger door on my D2 failed so I got hold of a second hand unit ( this may have been my first mistake ) and installed it. All went well, it's not that fiddly a job, until I closed the door...
The actuator makes the right sounds and pops up the lock as expected but I cannot open the door using either the internal or external handles. Luckily I've still go the door card off so I've got some access, although as both internal and external handles appear to make the visible bits of mechanism move as expected I'm a bit stuck about what to do next. Any ideas gratefully received.
