Hello

Its been a wile since i posted some photos but here we are as of now.

Trans case rebuilt just wighting on a order of parts to get that fitted in the chassis. I have gone for a LOF clutch.

Tub is repaired and the underside is coated with upon raptor.

The new seat box from YRM is a lovely bit of kit.

"As you can see i have been coating the nuts and bolts with Lucas red sticky grease. I am doing this as a little experiment to see if it will add some protection to them. I might even incorporate a coat on all bolts when i do a oil services."

I have always made sure that all fixings are given a liberal smear of grease when fitting and the excess which oozes out I wipe across the head / excess thread & nut. Believe me it pays dividends in the future, I have undone fixings which haven't been touched for a decade and they come apart beautifully.
Makes me cringe when I see someone doing a re-chassis and everything is put together dry with no thought to what it will be like in a few years time.

Hi all

Well i have been busy in and out of the garage these past few weeks and thought it time for a update.

The LOF clutch is a cracking bit of kit. Very nice quality.

Also all parts and dealings with YRM have been A1! top people to deal with.

Paddocks and brit car are still taking my money lol

looking nice mate. YRM are great aren’t they.

Just read through this whole thread - really great work - love the colour of the engine, and the raptor on the underside - something to think about me thinks! Can't wait for the next update!

Cheers mate!

Yes i like the engine colour against the black chassis. MOD recon blue is the colour.

I have have also raptor lined the inner front arches. Its cracking stuff to use. Easy and directional at 30psi.

i will keep the photos coming!

Hi all

Here a little update on where i am with the Landy.

Im really looking forward to seeing how it drives with the ATB in the front. I have herd good things about them.

The service form Ashcrofts has been spot on every time.

The sumo bars are nice and there polly ball joint boots went on easy.

The rear trailing arms are massive! 43mm diameter i think

Turbo is a OME unit with a custom fitted thrust bearing fitted.

Im going to paint the oil breather black to look more OEM
