Strata Florida pub accommodation

Hiya all,
Can any of you nice people out there recommend a good real ale pub with accommodation near Strata Florida. We'll be in a group of about 6 to 8 fella's driving down from Chester area. All well behaved, just looking for a hearty pub for a few pints and good food, then a comfy bed for the night.
If you know of a little gem of a place........please let me know.

I've stayed in this place: Castle Hotel, Llandovery :: Wales Brecon Beacons
Its about an hour drive from Strata Florida but there are loads of lanes on the way up there . Hotel is a good B&B with this place just accross the road : Bear Inn Llandovery opening times and reviews which was good for a few beers....
