Strange noise???

I was driving my Landy to work and about half way there when i push down an the accelerator i hear a whistling noise coming from the engine and when i brake there is a very small chucking when im almost stoped..any ideas??
 
on the prop shafts near at the ends there is a joint, crawl undernear and see if there is any play in the prop near the joint if so your uj's are shot.
