Strange Humming Noise

I have an 05 plate vogue diesel that has a strange humming noise that comes from the front passenger side (i think from the battery compartment) It only does upon start up and for 5 mins or so then goes.
It is intermittent rather than a constant noise? Can anyone help before I take it to Land Rover?
Fuel Burning Heater? Seems a strange noise to me like a belt about to go or something?

if its still under warranty then let LR deal with it, take it in and get them to fix it free!

just had the same thing myself. i think it could be your suspension motor. it has 3 rubber mountains. these i have sent for from ebay for 7 pounds but cost 30 pounds from rover dealer. when i get them i will fit and hope that will sort the problem.
