Has anyone got any ideas why the handling of my 99 D2 seems to have changed?
I've noticed that the handling has got more vague & less precise. almost like being in a boat! I've had no warning lights on the dash telling me something has gone wrong, but the handling is definitely different. I've checked the shocks & they seem ok, I've not noticed any fluid leaks from the ACE, I know that the pipes were replaced only 6 months ago. I'm at a loss to know where I should be looking.
Anyone shed any light on it?

Thanks for the suggestions, I can't see anything obvious, but reading through the forum I notice that it's possible the rear suspension could be stuck in the off rd position. As the ride height doesn't change when I operate the switch could this be the problem? I have noticed that there is no sound of air exhaust when I get out of the car anymore & it used to do that everytime someone got out of the car. Could this be where the fault lies? It would certainly account for the dodgy handling! Is there anything anyone can suggest I do to check? Cheers! Jez

if the bags are inflated to ORM height u must see that tha back of the car is higher than normal......the only one blocked in this case must be the exhaust valve......anyway if the ORM is working properly and u exceed 18mph the lamp must flash untill u reach the normal height...this one is "told" to the ECU by the height sensors...so if u dont reach the normal height the ORM switch must flash continuously............unless the system is faulty or the sensors are decalibrated and in this case dont mess with the ORM cos u might get an explosion....u better scan it
