Strange brake problem!!
Went out today, dash warning low brake fluid, pulled over... empty!! got back in, no brakes, yea thanks for the warning!!!! could have been at least 1/2 empty and a warning, worrying thing is, why is it empty!!!

Not so strange now... looks like I have a crack in the line, r/o/s its ****ing out fluid, will have to get someone around to sort it out

Corroded brake lines are a very common p38 problem. It'll probably be cheaper to buy generic pipe plus the flaring and bending tools than to buy OEM brake lines - if they're still available.

Unfortunately it's usually the solid pipes where they go over the fuel tank, no engine bay oil mist to keep the pipes from corroding back there!

You maybe surprised to learn that the flexible brake pipes very rarely fail.

the unions just rust into them and you have to replace them because of that not because the flexible part leaks

To avoid troubles when brakes are needed apply full force now and then when parked to test, also good idea to put an eye on lines etc after for leaks
