strange beeps

hi

Ive been occasionally getting beeps but no warning lights on me 2000 td5 disco. Usaually when setting of beeping starts for about 2 miles then stops. No lose of engine power all seems ok. Any one had this. ive only had it twice i will try and get more info next time it happens :alien::alien:

Any warning lights, is it coming from the dash area or from the rear of the veihicle?

First of all make sure all the warning lights are working on self test.... it might be a warning but the warning lamp is unfunctional
U know how your car is equipped and according to that the warning lamps must light on for 5 sec. when u turn ignition(except 2, 13, 15, 31, 32, or ACE, SLS if not fitted)...

warning noise is coming from the dash and there is no light. I will check the light see if one is not working.
