At work I drive a defender 130 'cherry picker' with a pick up cab. It's had the front seat removed and i've got a b+q storage box. Trouble is that the amount of paperwork and general crap that i'm expected to carry in the cab is getting out of hand. does anyone know of a storage system that can be fiited were the front seat was? money isn't a great problem as i'm going to play the safty card with my transport department.
cheers

richard hammond fitted a toilet there on his in top gear last week you could do the same and just wipe yer arse on it pmsl:hysterically_laughi:behindsofa:
sorry couldnt resist

do you mean the centre seat of the passenger seat? you can get a 'cubby' box for the centre seat but i don't know of anything to replace the passenger one, for a price i expect i could custom build one out of steel ;)

it's the front seat thats gone, part of a diet to try and keep the weight down, it's right on the 3.5 ton limit. The trouble is i've got about 8 A4 level files filled with network diagrams, safty documents and risk assesments ( well at least i've got the paper if i get a loo fitted !! )

If it's all nicely in leaver arch folders then why don't you build a custom metal or wood mini book case type thing, custom so individual slots for each folder with the folders going in the top so they won't fall out as you drive around...

id fit a loo due to the way some of them cherry picker tubs wobble about in the wind and take that one up with the health and safety board :hysterically_laughi
