Stones in Tyres!!

Just another random post!!

Do you get out of your landy and pick out all the stones in your tyre (or that annouying one that you hear on your drive home) with your keys?

or do you just persist with the sound and put up with it?

I often think my neighbours think iam mad every day pulling stones out of my tyres....

my solution will be a set of KL71's me think's

Unfortunately stones in the tyres is summit that you just have to put up with.

If we're in a group offroading and go back onto tarmac we let each other know about stones in the tyres so we can keep our distance. The same goes for stones trapped behind the dust guards. Sometimes a quick reverse gets shot of em.

More chunky tyres just means biggers stones unfortunately.:doh:

At the end of a days laning I do pick em out cos they drive me nuts.

nah leave them then when they fly off and hit the underside hubby jumps a fookin mile and i laugh my ass off

phew i aint the only one then..

i always have the window open and my elbow out and thats all you can hear.... tick tick tick tick.......

must repalce my rear my flaps to stop any following vehicle damage!!

with more chunky tyres it sounds more like a horse galloping alongside rather than a ticking sound.

Don't spose they're the only ones

tick tick tick tick tick tick

right up there with the most annoying noises in the world!! on the path to the yard there are 2 massive pot holes filled with stones, the holes are getting deeper due to my tyres!!

your not the only 1 to pick stones out, i do it most days!!

ps bigger tyres dont stop the noise, it just means the pile of tiny stones is now becoming a pile of rocks!!

or they hit some poor sods windscreen, not good.
I got cut up by a rangerover sport whilst driving a nissan micra and got 3 large chips in the windscreen.

i nearly have enough gravel chips for a new drive soon!!

if they don't drive too close their safe i'm sure ratty would sort the chips out, he loves chips, he'll come lick 'em off yur windscreen
