Stolen Discovery J285 MDD, 3 Door Blue

My mates blue 3 door disco was stolen from just outside Abergavenny, Wales on Saturday morning.
Very tidy for its age with Range Rover LSE alloys with new Event all terrain tyres all round.
Fitted with new jate rings and QT front diff guard.
Vin: SALLJGBF7JAO13334
Engine no: 12133011A

Any help much appreciated.

2 years on and my mate gets a knock on the door, its the local plod saying that thames valley police have just found his Disco!

Better late than never!! How does that work with the insurance? He would have had the pay out from it being knicked so does he have to pay that back now it has been returned? Or do you have to hand it over to the insurance co and then do a buy back if you want to keep it?

I'm not sure if he has seen it yet so it could be a bag of crap by now!
I presume the insurance co will offer it to him at the current value.
The payout was £650, which was a joke as it was the best 2 door 200 I have ever seen.
They will possibly value it a lot less now or it maybe the same you know what insurers are like!

if he's lucky the disco now might have full lift kit, snorkel, mud tyres, roll cage, etc, etc... lol
