STOLEN Blue Defender TD5 OXTED SURREY

PLEASE HELP

My much loved 2003 Land Rover Defender TD5 has been stolen from my drive in Hurst Green Surrey today between 08:00 and 19:15.

County stickers on sides
London to Brighton tag on front grill
two front seats and cubby box
New 'Defender' rear wheel cover
Silver chequer plate on front wings and low sills
Grey plastic sticker/chip sticker on front of bonnet
4 folding Exmoor trim seats with blue bungee cord holding it together

Husband has just said it was still here at 17:00 so some bugger has taken it between 17:00 and 19:15.

Any CCTV down the road? Police notified?

Might be worth going down the road asking neighbours. Especially the retired / work at home people.

There is an elder retired couple over the road from us, Who in return for me jump starting his motorhome every so often watches over our house and especially vehicles.

Thank you. Have spoken to the police and asked the neighbours but they didn't see anything. No cctv sadly but it is the only blue one in this area. Absolutely gutted

Thank you all very much...really appreciate I. Have just driven around Edenbridge and surrounding areas with my husband in his car seeing if we could see it anywhere. There is another Landy nearby so hubbie is going to give them the heads up as well.

Keep on searching you might get lucky, try industrial estates and housing estates and the garages area behind them.

Was stolen between 17:00 and 19:15 the police think they were waiting for my husband to leave and then took the car. so sad

You have also got a couple of woods and a common nearby, they sometimes move them and leave them overnight incase they have a tracker fitted.

Insurance company will call me about my claim apparently but told them they didn't understand, I don't want money I want my Scottie (Landy) back! We have checked farms, dark country roads but no luck. So very very sad and irritated thank you all again for your help.

Ill keep my eyes peeled. Im only round the corner in Warlingham. I wonder if it's the same lot that tried to take the 110 in Caterham a few weeks back.

Thanks all, we will keep a look out for it and have put it on Twitter and Facebook to see if anyone else has seen it. A bit worried about the one down the road as that is still there but who knows for how long!

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled around Caterham for you, there have been quite a few going in the area just recently (they attempted mine). A few have been recovered with parts missing, dumped in famers fields or woodland.

He was fab, got us through the snow last year and has been very useful lugging all sorts of stuff about. Am not giving up though am trawling online adds etc just in case and will have a proper look at the weekend in the daylight hours. Glad they didn't get yours.
