Stolen 1997 Defender 110 Surrey Area

Hi everyone,

My 1997 Defender 110 was stolen and towed away at 9:30 pm on 7th April 2020 from Tadworth area, Surrey.

I have owned this car for over 20 years and it is a treasured family heirloom. We are hopeful for its safe return.

The specifications are as follows:

Year: 1997
Colour: Green
Reg: NGL 747
Engine Size: 2495 CC
Chassis number: SALLDHM67VA115562
Engine number: 23L16835A
Mileage: Approx 44,500
Defining features:
– Hunt Grange Tonbridge rear tyre cover
– Boot print on paintwork next to rear driver’s side light where light guard was forced off
– Light guard on front light passenger side replaced - doesn’t quite match original over other front light

Thieving B*stards. I'm pretty close to there, but I'm guessing it's long gone by now- I presume you reported to the Police ASAP as others have already suggested? Might be worth seeing if neighbours or locals have CCTV as you seem to have an accurate timeframe to work with. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get a result with the police or with your insurers.

I’ve noticed that. We’d know what measures were failing then! Never seen a thing on here on landywatch where a well alarmed one has gone missing?

Absolutely gutting for op especially after it’s been passed through family. Hope it turns up as looks very clean

We’ll probably never know. O/P came and went in one day and has never been back
