some weeks back i had a problem with engine stalling and found a wire for the fuel pump going to fuse box badly burnt that was repaired perfectly today it has started stalling again only when the vehicle hits something hard (pothole) or travels over rough ground HELP

Wires only burn when they get hot. Either from something outside, exhaust etc.
Otherwise it's because the wire is being asked to carry more power than it's designed for. The two main problems are a short circuit or a loose connection causing a spark.

Having had the problem before I'd be very tempted to double check the same cable but go a little further. The fuse box itself? The wire shorting somewhere where the insulation has been cut or rubbed away. Did you repair the entire length of the cable or could there be more damage from the previous overheating?

Run the engine and start wiggling and pulling wires until it stalls. Just be more and more gentle and you'll get closer and closer to the fault - or start blowing fuses - or start a fire! Go on - live dangerously.

You didn't say which vehicle it is.
If it's a P38 you want to have a VERY careful look and smell around the fuse box, they are prone to problems inside the boards.
