Stiff reverse gear.

Hello all, so I replaced engine and transfer box oil a couple of weeks ago in my 1999 td5 defender with the intention to replace gearbox oil. It's like the gearbox is shouting you forgot me! Because reverse gear selection has become mighty stiff. So first port of call replace oil? ....and if so mtf94?
