Help
front passenger window goes down ok, but on the way up it gets stuck 2/3 of the way.

If i force it back a bit by hand, it will go up all the way.

Have stripped the door inner, it looks like the bars maybe bent or twisted.

In have another P38 with good window mechanism, but they are all pop rivetted together.

Believe i can drill them and re pop rivet in the new vehicle
Has anyone any experience of swapping the unit and frame over.

Plan on doing it tomorrow
any help or advice greatly appreciated

dont open the window its bloody cold out there........according to rave rivets have to be drilled out and replaced when changing mechanism !

but some clever chappy on here may know of a better way.:crazy_driver:

I drilled them out and re-fitted with M4 stainless bolts and nylock nuts, easier for next time:doh:

All done
drilled out, one robbed out of project and then refitted
what a pain you need three hands to get the window reattached to the mechanism

then found it was out of the track at the front, so had to refit it

Windows goes all the way up now, not stuck 2/3 of way.

re rivetted it as have access to a pop rivet gun

Reckon i have damaged part of the tint on the window, but hey ho.
Cheers for the advice
