Hi All,
I'm new to the site, but have looked at your forums quite a bit, very useful. I've just had the dreaded stuck down clutch pedal on my Freelander 2.0td4 04 reg, done about 130k miles, I've looked at past forum chats on this, question is.... should I just go straight to having a new clutch fitted ( I do tow a small caravan) or try and get the sticking pedal looked at as in possible air in cylinder/pipes. I'm not a mechanic and don't have the time so it has to be a garage job. would a replacement clutch solve all the problems in one go , or could it still happen. Been quoted £675 for clutch replacement? Bearing in mind it won't be cheap if I go down the inspection route first, also not sure if the 2 are connected, but i've noticed what appears to be a small fluid leak onto the drivers mat from under the dash, thought at first it was sunroof leak, but it's not? Thanks in Advance. Doug
