Hi all,
So I have just fitted my 200tdi engine into my 110.
I have found that with the steve parker downpipe fitted, the exhaust actually touches the footwell (well the soundproofing on the footwell). Is this going to be a fire risk or anything?
Also, now that it is fitted, I cannot remove the downpipe in situ, because I have no fore and aft movement of the downpipe? Is this usual?
I am going to replace the studs with M10 x 25mm bolts so I can hopefully remove the downpipe in situ?
Would you wrap the exhaust in exhaust wrap?
My main concern is how close to the bulkhead it is!
Many thanks
Tom
