Hi i have just changed my p38 for a slightly later version ie: 1997 for 2000. hope done right thing?.. so now looking to have to put my hand deep into pockets again. I wonder if anyone can help with my question the original radio has been removed on this one and a alpine has been put in however the controls on the steering for the radio and such are now disconected. I seem to remember reading on here that they can, but maybee i'm wrong. would just like to have it all working if possible any help and info appreciated.

Clarky130 knows the Audio System and I think he also has developed a method of getting the controls to work....

Been speaking to Clarky about this. I believe it can be done, but will cost £100 or so. Are the steering controls worth that much to you?

Hi and many thanks for the input have spoken to clarky myself, and it all sounds bit technical for me, I would have to get someone in to do it, and as much as i like to have things as they were or original as possible think, i'll leave it as is, bloody good sound i know that. but thanks to all.
