Hi all.
I own a 2002 Td4, Freelander.

I bought it with no stereo and am now trying to sort...
Can anyone help out please?

Is this big grey connector...the stereo connector?
(Its only one behind the centre console that isn't accounted for...beyond two little connectors, that sat behind central locking, in 2nd picture. The other 3 were 12v ciggie, central locking and rear window)

If so...whats it called so I can buy a harness please?

"2002 Freelander Harness" (or even variations of searches with BMW / ISO etc), doesn'yt show up anything that matches.

Any help appreciated as pulling my hair out.
Thanks in advance! :)

My ISO adapter was from Halfords, and listed for a Ford Transit on a 2005 TD4. I don't have the box to hand at the moment, but possibly this thing.

Cheers. Yea... ive seen a few Ford ones mentioned. But pins don't seem to match up in picture, to the socket I posted picture of.
...sadly!

I had an aftermarket headunit in my old 2001 FL1 which I took out when I got rid of it. It had the ISO adapter on it and I am sure it was a more square connector than that with lots of round pins. I'll see if I can dig it out and post a pic.
The cables were all behind the headunit though and not on the floor where your one seems to be.

The problem with the earlier FL1, was it used several different stereos, from different sources, so there were several different multi-plugs used. Sometimes it's just easier to cut of the custom plug, and wire in a more standard DIN plug instead. ;)

I recently had to change the harness on my 2002 ES TD4 as someone had "modified" it. The original cable from the plug to the loom was YMQ001570, this provides the two ISO connectors for the Visteon CD player, CD changer and steering wheel controls. YMQ001550 is the same without the CD changer connection.
