Hi chaps,
I'm thinking of putting a later type defender or maybe disco steering wheel to my 1986 110.
Are they a straight swap?

nope splines are differnt sizes

I warn you now I'm brand new to this forum and Landy ownership, but I have looked into changing the steering wheel on my 110 1991 V8 county, and I think you will have a 36 spline steering column. later models changed to 48 splines. Steering wheel bosses are available in 36 and 48 splines (around £20) and then more modern steering wheels can be attached. Get me, first day on this forum and giving advice already. I hope I'm right and I hope it helps.

Or ye could try swapping the steering column for a later one like ah did

apparently some td5 steering wheels will fit but it could be easier/cheaper to get an aftermarket wheel and boss
