hi guys on the motorway today some idiot cut me up in the middle lane , i had to slam on the brakes......
well the steering wheel shook violently:eek: and was a scarey few seconds it does not do it on normal driving and no wheel wobble at speeds
it felt like the front end was going to collapse any ideas guys
it seems to skip and have a springy feel to it when you go over bumps at speed too regards dave

Hi, could be the front anti roll bar droplinks, Its a known fault on these models, @ £30.00 on eBay for a pair, that includes 2 anti roll bar bushes if you need them.

i know the feeling one of my anti roll bar drop links has snapped so it could be the same problem with yours also there seems to be a bit of play in my steering box not sure if its normal. as with the steering shake its probably the abs kicking in, its a right pain when you slam on the brakes.
