steering relay series 3

can anyone help or offer advice on how to get a steering relay out of a front cross member i have poured gallons of penertrating oil on it and its jacked up against weight of landrover and it hasnt moved at all dont realy want to resort to oxy as i have got any

Jack it is the usual way but i would try just jacking it enough not to lift the wheels off the ground and then tap around it with a nylon hammer.

I Just Put Two Blocks Of Wood On Crossmember And Used Twobig Pry Bars And Some Gentle Persuasion With A Copper Hammer
