ok guys...
the damper is good
the tracking is done
the swivels are preloaded fine
...so the box it looks like...am i to assume the outer nut on top of the box is to lock the centre torx head bolt...im guessing thats like a worm screw to adjust ?

if you wind 6mm allen screw in it tightens box,out loosens it the wheel on sector shaft is pushed down onto input shaft worm ,must be done with steering central ,count turns lock to lock and put in the middle either side of this centre position boxs naturally has freeplay getting bigger towards full lock ,to tight a box will loose self steering

ok, had a go at this yesterday but hit a wall after about 5 minutes...
in the piccie...i loosened the outer nut no probs, but the inner torx head screw/bolt wont budge and i dont want to knacker the head of it...
if i remove the 2 together by unscrewing the outer nut, will this cause any issues or does it all need to stay in place.
was thinking of doing that to loosen the centre screw...

you cant remove the two as is fastened in to end of sector shaft ,it shouldnt be that tight as you are adjusting sector shaft up/down with screw and locking with nut,if its tight in top housing can you get 2 nuts to lock together on thread and work to free then adjust with allen key .if its tight on pushing sector shaft down thats why you have no self centering on steering should be adjusted when steering central and feeling just the removement of freeplay on input shaft while you rock it by hand
